| Job Description | RCL FOODS is seeking Millwrights to join our Speciality Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Maintenance Foreman. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to be responsible for ensuring that plant maintenance is done effectively and accurately in such a way as to ensure minimum downtime. |
| Minimum Requirements | KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
PLC/VSD Drives experience. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Millwright Trade Test. |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not deteriorate. Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists. Be able to comply with Food Safety standards. Assemble, install and/or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and waterlines. Ensure that your department complies with all Health and Safety requirements. Diagnose and correct mechanical problems. Inspect,operate,and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Direct and train workers to install, maintain mechanical and electrical equipment. Record maintenance and repair work performed. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Projects and machine installations. |
