Youth Employment Services (YES)
The Youth Employment Service is a business-driven initiative with government and labour departments that builds economic pathways for youth to help reduce unemployment.
The programme provides 12 months of on-the-job training where participants are exposed to various parts of the retail business. On completion, successful YES learners are skilled to work in retail or start their own retail business.
Shoprite invites unemployed South Africans aged 18-34 to apply for the YES Learnership Programme. Gain retail skills and enhance your employability.
Program Highlights:
– Retail Readiness Programme (RRP): Practical in-store training + NQF level 3 qualification.
– YES Initiative: 12-month advanced training program.
Eligibility:
– South African youth aged 18-34
– Completed Grade 12 or equivalent

South African youth between 18 and 34 years.
