Essential Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Mining Engineering
• Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines
• Mine Manager Certificate of Competence
• 6 – 8 years of experience in an underground trackless mining environment
• Minimum 1 years as a Mine Overseer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operational readiness on designed and development execution projects
• Support the adherence to mining layouts and development plans.
• Manage short interval control system in the Development section.
• Identify, plan and manage value engineering projects.
• Project control and reporting.
• Be the contact link between Group Projects and On-site Projects to align, manage and execute and tests trials and studies.
• Identify and manage projects-related continuous improvement initiatives.
• Management and tracking of key KPIs feeding into planning and budgeting process.
