General Factory Worker

Job Summary:

As a General Worker at AC Gear, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the overall operations of the company. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Setup and cleanup of work areas

● Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organising, and minor repairs

● Operate basic machinery and tools as needed

● Load and unload materials and equipment from Suppliers and Customers

● Movement of machines for factory layout changes

● Fabric rack rotation with Storeman

● Canteen duties – filling of water urns, checking microwaves

● Checking water meter consumption daily

● Support factory and office employees with various tasks and projects

● Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment

● Fitment of products for QC department

● Bins filling and removal on daily and weekly basis

● Car cleaning of COO

● Adhoc duties for Management

Experience and Qualifications:

● Grade 12 and previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.

● English language is essential but not necessary

● Ability to perform physical labor

● Basic understanding of maintenance tools and techniques

● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

● Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

● Reliable transportation and punctuality
