Description:

Sphaku cement currently seeking a skilled and experienced  Handyman/Boilermaker to join their team, within the  industry. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining boilers, tanks, and other metal structures used in the mining operations.

Responsibility:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install boilers, tanks, and other metal structures according to engineering specifications.
• Maintain and repair existing equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine materials and procedures for fabrication.
• Perform various welding techniques to join metal components and ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct tests and inspections to identify and correct any defects or issues in the equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members and engineers to improve processes and designs.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Boilermaker Trade Test Certificate
• Extensive experience in processing plant.
• Valid driver’s license.
