• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a FMCG manufacturing

Job Description
To assist with setting up the mailite machine using the SOP and SOC to produce mailers to the required production order information.
Responsibilities
1. Maintains the correct specification throughout the run by making the necessary adjustments
2. To have a fair understanding of the mechanical operation of his machine in order to carry out corrective action when faults occur in the mailer production process
3. Change the seal wire, jaws and cutting knife, when required
4. Maintain the working condition of the mailite machine by doing cleaning on a weekly basis
5. Responsible for packing department e.g. Handy Packs, Shrink Wraps etc
6. Control of raw material usage
o Complete the required Production Order at a material yield of 98% or better
o Complete the daily production at an 85% efficiency rate
o Complete all administrative tasks as required by the job (production no, date, weight of roll, width etc) written on the core label)
7. Safety
o Operate the mailite in compliance with SEE safety rules and regulations
