[Job Opportunities] Blue Mining Services contracted to Seriti Resource – Klipspruit Extension, has vacancies for the following positions.
-MPV/Stonedust/Tractor Operator
-LHD Operator
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate an LHD unit to the standards described in the relevant Safe Operating
Standards (SOP) included: Carry out a pre-start check before operating the LHD Carry out a risk assessment of each new area where loading is to take place Work with Haul Truck operators for the safe loading of ore and waste Communicate with the Haul Truck operator before during and on completion of loading to ensure that loading and haulage is carried out safely Observe all transport rules in the mine and on surface Park the LHD unit in the appropriate areas Keep clean equipment, fuel and lube the LHD unit every shift For remote controlled LHD operation, additional training and authorisation is required, and additional controls are required for operation of the LHD Signage and barricades to ensure no unauthorized access is made to the area Testing of the remote-control unit prior to starting Remote stand or other safe area to operate from Desired
Experience & Qualification:
Must be able to pass a medical test. Willingness to work in a diverse environment. Proficiency in language of operation High school diploma or equivalent Certification for LHD Driver No criminal record.
