Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with expertise in Caterpillar engines, specifically the FEL Caterpillar C7.1 model.
As a Diesel Mechanic at our company, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Caterpillar C7
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs for Caterpillar C7.1 engines.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
• Repair and overhaul diesel engines and related components, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and cooling systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively to troubleshoot problems and make accurate repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards at all times.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, specializing in Caterpillar engines.
• Expertise and competency in working with FEL Caterpillar C7.1 engines.
• Possession of a valid Red Seal certification in diesel mechanics.
• 8-10 years of verifiable experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Demonstrable track record of successful, traceable work experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex engine issues effectively.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Own transportation and a complete set of personal tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification or formal training in diesel mechanics or a related field.
• Prior experience working with heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
