Job Title: Deboner
Location: Gauteng, Sedibeng District, Meyerton Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Manufacturing and Production Secondary Industry: FMCG
Job Description:
The Deboner role is crucial within the manufacturing and production industry, specifically in the FMCG sector. The primary responsibility of a Deboner is to efficiently and accurately debone meat products according to quality and safety standards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties:
• Debone meat products following standard operating procedures
• Ensure product quality and adherence to safety regulations
• Operate deboning equipment and machinery
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets Required
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in meat processing or a similar role
• Knowledge of food safety regulations • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail Education: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a meat processing or deboning role Knowledge and Skills:
• Understanding of meat processing techniques
• Ability to operate and maintain deboning equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred
Qualifications:
• Certification in food handling or meat processing
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Working
Conditions:
The Deboner role involves working in a manufacturing facility where exposure to various meat products and production machinery is common.
The role may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy items. Proper safety equipment and training will be provided
