The Kiosk Assistant focuses on offering a superior customer service to all customers, emphasising on selling and up-selling products and the overall ‘Customer Journey’. A key focus of this role is to ensure that sales targets are reached and customer queries are resolved through product knowledge, research, and troubleshooting. A Kiosk Sales Consultant is responsible for safekeeping of all company propety and assets, facilitating stock control, processing sales, handling cash, and following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies at all times
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
– Offering a superior customer service to all customers, emphasising on selling products
and the overall ‘Customer Journey’
– Selling and upselling products to existing and new customers
– Reaching Sales targets
– Ensuring the safekeeping of all company property at the Kiosks/ workstation, including, but not limited to: company computers/ laptops, phones, stock, money, equipment and related resources
– Ensure that all point of sale (POS) procedures are followed inline with standard operating procedures
– Facilitating the Kiosk stock control process, which may include replenish stock, doing stock takes, safekeeping of stock and ensuring that stock does not get damaged/lost/stolen, doing interbranch transfers (IBT) and receiving of stock deliveries
– Handling of cash and card sales, including processing of sales, banking, doing cashups and managing the float
– Understanding and displaying a knowledge of the brand, products, services, policies, procedures and company ethos
– General housekeeping of the kiosk and ensuring that your kiosk and/or workstation, and your personal appearance represents professionalism, the quality of products and care for our customers
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education & Experience Requirements:
– Matric or NQF equivalent
– Previous Retail sales experience advantageous
– Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
– Basic business administration knowledge
Additional Requirements:
– Flexible and able to work shifts, which may include night work, weekends, and public holidays
– Able to travel reliably and available to work at different Kiosks/Stores, if required
