Nepomuceno Logistics is looking for the appointed destinations within required timeframes with a 14-ton truck
Duties & Responsibilities
Vehicle Inspection and Checklists
1. On site inspection is done according to regulations and prescribed standards
before commencing with task to prevent damange, injury and financial loss
2. Ensure that all roadworthy assessments have been done daily
3. Responsible to ensure that preventative maintenance is done
4. Ensure trucks leave at time, and ensure that pick up of livestock is done on time
5. Keep to the allocated speed limits
6. Complete the logbook
7. Ensure that all dfocuments regaring moving of livestock is done on time
Trip sheet checklist
1. All queries to be sorted with the client before leaving for the next pick up
2. No pickup to be made if paperwork has not been signed off by the client
Client relationships
1. Establish and maintain sound relationships with clients
2. build relationships wiht all clients and ensure satisfactory service at all time
3. Ensure to be presentable neat and tidy at all times
Desired Experience & Qualification
1. Grade 12
2. Valid Code 14 driver’s license
3. Valid PDP
4. 5 to 10 years experience in livestock transportation required (animal truck driving)
with a 14 ton truck and a load of 440 lambs
5. Must live and/or stay in Williston, Northern Cape province. (must be willing to relocate)
6. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
7. Clean criminal record
8. Medically fit
9. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions. etc.
10. Preference will be given to EE candidates
Package & Remuneration
Salary R12660.00 CTC per month
